Create a Signature on a Chromebook

Since SigVela runs entirely in the browser, a Chromebook can type or draw a signature exactly like a laptop, with no software to install.

Create Signature First

Setup Steps

  1. Open SigVela in Chrome on the Chromebook
  2. Type a name to generate options, or switch to Draw Your Own for touchscreen and stylus models
  3. Export as PNG for documents or copy HTML for email, then save the file to Google Drive or Downloads

Best Practices

  • Use two fingers to zoom the drawing canvas on smaller Chromebook screens
  • A stylus-equipped Chromebook usually gives the smoothest drawn result
  • Downloaded files save to the Files app and sync with Google Drive if enabled
