Create the signature mark

Use SigVela to generate or draw a handwritten signature. For PDF documents, black or dark blue usually looks most natural.

Open the export modal and choose the PDF stamping option after selecting the signature you want to use.

Place it on the PDF

Upload the PDF, click where the signature should appear, and download the signed copy. Keep the signature aligned with the document baseline.

If the signature looks too large, regenerate a smaller export or place it again at a more appropriate scale.

Know the legal difference

A visual PDF signature is useful for everyday forms, internal documents, drafts, and branding. For legally sensitive contracts, use an e-signature service that provides identity verification, consent capture, and an audit trail.

Common Questions

Does SigVela upload my PDF to a server?

The tool is designed to work in the browser, so your signature workflow does not require a backend account.

Is this the same as DocuSign or Adobe Sign?

No. SigVela creates a visual signature stamp. Verified e-signature platforms provide audit trails and identity workflows.
